After the all day tour from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, I can truly say that I saw New Mexico from different vantage point. Getting off of the main highway, then driving through the backcountry as we worked our way toward the old mining towns turned out to be "the road less travelled." Finding that elusive road is the dream of every traveller.

What an amazing day we spent together photographing in and around the magical Chaco Canyon! It has become one of the special highlights of my life.
